Rings In My Strings?!

I have always been a lover of ring planners. The customization & versatility you get with a ring planner is what works best for me (& I LOVE printable planner inserts!). But, I always loved the look of traveler’s notebooks as well.

Many moons ago I had so many beautiful TN’s, I would use them for a while then would really want/need rings for their functionality. So, I started putting rings in my strings because I didn’t want to give up my gorgeous TN’s. However, those TN’s we not made to accommodate rings so of course my inserts wouldn’t fit the TN perfectly.

Fast forward years later to present time, I was really missing that rustic feel of holding a TN. (Not that I didn’t love the planner I was using right before, because trust me, I love it so much, but I like a change once in a while.)

I decided to search Etsy with many key words for what I wanted and came across a shop called Joyful Pawprints & saw she did custom work. I reached out to the owner, Andrea, right away to start chatting with her about what I was looking for. Joyful Pawprints specializes in traveler’s notebooks & I needed rings. But, I knew I had to get a planner from this shop as I fell in love immediately with the gorgeous butterscotch brown leather she had available.

So I decided I would go old school & buy some Krause Rings separate so that I could put rings in my strings. BUT, I would completely customize this planner in every aspect for it’s size & design to accommodate those rings so I could get the versatility & functionality of rings while having that gorgeous TN look!

When I received my Joyful Pawprints custom planner, I couldn’t have been happier! Andrea brought my vision to life & every single aspect of my planner that I customized was perfectly done by her. I am loving my new planner & still using my prior one as an extension planner!
